As part of the relaunch of our Happiness project at Highfield Littleport our students in S3 are developing their enterprise, social interaction, food technology and money skills in a way to spread some happiness.

The students have devised the concept and name of the project themselves and have developed their English skills too by composing the letter you can see below.  They will be launching an amazing snack shop to develop their business and money skills every Friday.  This is a truly cross curricular project as the students have been involved with all aspects.  This has ranged from composing the communication to their audience as well as designing logo's and managing finances - of course there are some food technology skills thrown in there too.  Preparing for Adulthood at its best.

Take a look at the letter below and be sure to send in some pennies to fill your tummies, develop social skills and spread some all important happiness!

Dear Parents/Carers and S Class Students,

As we know, we are officially an ‘Outstandingly Happy School’ and so S3 class are very excited to relaunch the Happiness project at Highfield Littleport.

Starting Friday 19th November we will be opening the Highfield Hygge Hotspot, a one stop snack shop for S2, S3 and S4 classes.

We will be holding our amazing snack shop in S3 classroom every Friday from 10.20am – 10.40am.  There will be a variety of food and drink including sausage rolls, pizza slices and fruit or veg pots.

Students are invited to bring in some money, a maximum of £1, so that they can visit the shop.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Students and Staff of S3
