During the year we have had the pleasure of working with Babylon Arts and the Artist Kaitlin Ferguson and her assistants, Lyn Pryor and Amy Wormald. This co-creation was inspired by the geological past of Wicken Fen. Some of the classes were able to visit and take part in outside learning which incorporated exploring our local area. Then the Artists alongside the classes in each pathway worked on representing ‘Deep Time’ within the school curriculum which allowed the final art piece to be created. This has all been made possible by ‘inspired by Nature’ which is a regional programme which facilitates creative engagement with local heritage, and the national lottery .This in partnership with Ely museum RNIB and Wicken Fen.
