The planning application submitted to East Cambridgeshire District Council to build an extension, pick up and drop off loop, cycle parking and extra bin storage has been approved.
The extension will be providing an additional 50 spaces for students taking the capacity of our school to just under 200 pupils. We will be able to accommodate more pupils as well as giving space to life skills and a great new sensory room. A new pick up and drop off loop is also proposed to ease congestion during the start and end of the school day. This will be able to accommodate up to 20 taxi's and minibuses during the beginning and end of the day so that congestion will be eased from backing up on to the existing highway.
Construction is expected to be completed in the Autumn term 2025.
