This New Extension is a hugely positive development for our local community, containing classrooms and life skill development areas that will provide much needed additional educational capacity for the school. The scheme also includes a new drop-off area to ease the drop-off and collection of pupils and remove the buildup of traffic on Elm Side.
RG Carter are currently progressing with the detailed design work, planning and off-site mobilisation, to enable a start on site by late January. Once on site they will spend the first 6-weeks clearing the area, forming their site compound, and undertaking the drop-off loop works in preparation for works to start on the New Extension. The project is due to complete in Winter of 2025.
With a view to minimising disruption to the neighbours of the site RG Carter will be maintaining a traffic management plan and delivery schedule system to ensure that deliveries do not cause unnecessary traffic.
