Our students work both in and out of school on activities to prepare them for adult life after Highfield. Some of our students volunteer at the local food bank helping to make up food parcels for those in need in the community. This is also part of their Community Action within their Personal Social Development ASDAN qualification. Students were very engaged and are working on developing their social interaction and team work skills.
Other students in key stage 4 regularly access the community to apply their learning. Students went to Ely this week to apply their money and social skills within the city. They also practiced their road safety skills. Students were very responsible and worked hard towards their targets.
